Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in mobile phone technologies with focus on mobile SoC architecture, compute (DSP/ML) performance
• Experience with edge deployment of learning models with experience with CPU/GPU/DSP/TPU tradeoffs
• Experience of identifying architecture bottlenecks and driving architecture options to provide optimal performance/power for AI/ML use cases

Preferred qualifications:

• Technical experience in two or more of the following mobile phone technologies areas: Mobile SoC Architecture, Video Codec, Camera, Audio, Display, Coprocessor, Low power DRAM, or CPU/GPU/DSP/ML IP
• Abitlity to lead key product feature definition, including experience with requirement and development

Responsibilities

• Leverage fundamentals and industry experience to contribute to the performance characterization and optimizations of Pixel devices and services.
• Work cross-functionally with other systems architects, Pixel Product management, Pixel software, and technology teams to identify/analyze/characterize future DSP/ML workloads for new feature feasibility study, power performance, area tradeoffs, and benchmark//KPI development.
• Provide key contributions to future architectures and use case models through data driven input from the current platforms.
