Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience planning, pitching, and executing a territory sales strategy/sales programs, and developing mechanisms to scale business
  • Experience managing a sales team
  • Experience selling data and analytics software or solutions

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with market-leading Business Intelligence (BI) front-end, data analytics middleware, or back-end data warehouse technologies
  • Understanding of data analytics technology stack (e.g., Hadoop/Spark, columnar data warehouses, data streaming, ETL and data governance, predictive analytics, OLAP, and data science framework)
  • Familiarity with Google Cloud Data and Analytics offerings (e.g., BigQuery, Looker etc.)
  • Ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders as a business advisor and thought leader in data and analytics
  • Outstanding business judgment and analytics skills, using data to inform decisions and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and strategic/analytical thinking skills

You will work with complex agreements and are motivated to be part of a specialized team.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, motivate, develop, and lead a team of sales specialists to grow and exceed annual and quarterly goals.
  • Collaborate with the wider Google sales organization to develop scaled sales strategies, drive pipeline, and provide oversight to the overall Data Analytics pipeline health.
  • Explore and understand complex customer requirements on business and technical levels. Engage, educate, and ensure satisfaction of the installed base.
  • Generate a plan to ensure broad Data Analytics growth into Google Cloud accounts and manage cross-functional partners in complex implementation projects and agreements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, influence long-term strategic direction, and act as an advisor.
