Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a high-tech organizations with a CPA.
  • Experience with US GAAP, particularly related to revenue recognition under ASC 606

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in agreement review process improvement, business system implementation, project management, and quality control.
  • Experience in Google sheets, PLX, data analysis, SQL or related.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Ability to articulate technical accounting guidance to non-technical audiences, and conduct technical accounting research and document findings.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing and fast-moving environment and priorities commitment to excellence, and ethical standards and integrity.
  • Excellent work ethic, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the Cloud Business Finance team and manage review and approval of Cloud revenue agreements, ensuring appropriate business recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Provide technical accounting and business recognition advice to cross-functional teams and business partners.
  • Work with Accounting and Systems Operations teams to set up scalable and repeatable processes, to ensure appropriate business recognition for Cloud business agreements.
  • Partner with Pricing, Finance, Accounting Operations, and other business groups to drive process improvements in the area of Cloud agreement review.
  • Coordinate with regional teams for Cloud agreement review support.
