Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience, including 2 years of experience in an analytical role in management consulting, investment banking, the internet, or media industries.
  • 2 years of experience using SQL or other programming or scripting languages to manipulate data sets.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in an ad sales, ad support, finance, data science, or strategy and operations role.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and visualization using tools like R and Tableau.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads, Search Ads 360, Analytics 360, Attribution, or YouTube.
  • Knowledge of version control and review tools like GitHub.
  • Knowledge of any programming language.

About the job

The Product Data Warehouse team tracks adoption of ads, measurement products, and features. This is used to generate lead lists, analyze the value of various features, set priorities for sales teams, and to help the direction of Ads products.

As the Customer Incentive Analyst, you'll develop tracking to help monitor customers' participation in incentive programs and achievement against goals. You'll work to identify, implement processes, and track improvements to make Google's programs more consistent and easier to manage. You'll track adoption of ads, measurement products, and features to generate lead lists, analyze the value of various features, set priorities for sales teams, and to lead the direction of Ads products.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop scalable, sharable tools to track advertiser and agency incentive progress, from qualification and initial sign-up to completion of incentive requirements.
  • Work across teams to design metrics and business processes to streamline the program for advertisers, agencies, salespeople, finance, and program leaders.
  • Track the programs' budget usage to maximize utilization without going over budget.
  • Lead analysis to deliver insights and actionable recommendations to improve incentive programs.
  • Build knowledge of Google's sales goals, products, and sales processes to identify areas to improve incentive programs.
