Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• 5 years of experience with machine learning algorithms and tools, artificial intelligence, or natural language processing.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
• Experience bringing Machine Learning systems to production.
• Experience in running and maintaining the products.
• Familiarity with academic research in AI and machine learning, including published papers.

The Conversation-AI team's goal is to protect voices in online conversation. We design and build innovative user experiences to explore how our models can help humans have better conversations. We also publish original research to advance the state-of-the-art in using ML to support good online discussion.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $185,000-$283,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Make recommendations about how to adapt the latest LLM technology to enable our goals, execute on those goals, and support team members to develop ML expertise. Work on productionizing new models to enable serving them at scale.
• Make recommendations about how to build on the latest LLM technology to enable new perspective API features and improvements.
• Develop new ML models, including leading data annotation processes, training models, evaluating, measuring and mitigating for bias, and meeting production latency and serving requirements.
• Support other team members to develop ML expertise.
• Maintain and productionize models serving at scale.
