Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of professional experience leveraging Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a similar quantitative field.
• Software development experience in C++, Python or Java.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: on-device machine learning, mobile algorithms, data analysis/experiments, and Android development.
• Experience in data management techniques and privacy considerations.
• Experience with implementing compute-heavy algorithms on mobile systems.
• Experience successfully launching one or multiple AI/ML-powered user-facing products.

As a Software Engineer, you will build the stack for scaling the organization's machine learning (ML) needs, which include training and evaluation data strategies, incorporating human feedback for ML quality, on-device optimization, feature development, and quality experiments. In this role, you will be working across multiple teams and stakeholders.

It also includes qualifying/processing/labeling the data for use across multiple ML teams, user query understanding and leveraging the latest on-device and server based models.

Responsibilities

• Build a data evaluation pipeline in a safe and private way.
• Develop algorithms that leverage a multitude of models.
• Build evaluation datasets, metrics, and infrastructure to understand, evaluate and optimize the behavior of our models, platform and algorithms. Support a multitude of user facing features that rely on the quality and performance of these algorithms, such as running on-device and across different interfaces.
• Support a multitude of user-facing features that rely on the quality and performance of these algorithms, such as running on compute-constrained embedded systems.
