Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in building and managing engineering teams, growing team members, and setting organizational goals.
• Experience in software engineering with programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Python, Go).
• Experience in running and overseeing technical projects.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in areas of distributed systems, automation systems, testing infrastructure, and design.
• Ability to set and drive the technical strategy and provide detailed technical guidance to the team, enabling them to execute effectively.
• Interest in technical infrastructure supporting large software products.
• Technical expertise in developing tools, infrastructure, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers at all levels building the infrastructure behind Cloud's latest offering.
• Work with internal Duet AI product teams to translate their platform, tooling and infrastructure needs, and constraints into project roadmaps.
• Manage project schedules, identify risks, and clearly communicate them to stakeholders. Work closely with engineers, product managers and other teams to create, deliver, and evolve products and features.
• Ensure that engineers can effectively execute on technical projects in the wider organization.
• Grow, coach, and mentor engineers and engineering managers to build a healthy team culture with a focus on technical excellence.
