Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience in managing globally distributed teams

  • Experience in a sales engineering or data science role
  • Ability to collaborate effectively on multiple multi-market projects simultaneously

Our team leads sales engineering and marketing science engagements across Global Client Agency Solutions (GCAS) advertisers, agencies, and marketing partners. We serve as an expert sales resource that manages technical discovery and validation against our customers leading business objectives, scoping solutions that will feasibly scale, and collaborating with Account Executive counterparts to secure sales commitment against those solutions. As a Global Sales Engineering Manager, you will grow our portfolio and inspire a team against values of diversity, inclusivity, and trust.

Responsibilities

  • Manage of team of sales engineers and data scientists.
  • Lead pre-sales technical engagements with clients that require engineering and data science expertise to ensure scale and media sales objectives can be met.
  • Manage an engagement from conception solutions to model development and deployment, requiring expertise in Google’s products and platforms and the ability to address complex use cases across bidding, goals, measurement, workflow, creative, and identity resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal sales leads and cross-functional teams across the business cycle influencing both C-level and practitioner level technical executives.
  • Produce technical thought leadership that can be used in educating clients on how to best apply our more advanced functionality and in providing technical feedback that they can incorporate into product development.
