Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience implementing and customizing vendor software and/or building custom compensation systems applications through full system implementation.
• 5 years of experience in re-engineering business processes, in the Human Resources or Procurement domains at an enterprise level.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with designing solutions and integrating third-party Human Resource implementations.
• Technical domain expertise in Human Resource/Compensation processes and systems.

You listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. With your technical expertise, you build business applications and influence the design of features that improve the reliability of our applications and systems. You also define the scope of technical projects and oversee execution.

People Operations (POps) Works is responsible for building the systems used to hire, grow, and retain Google's talent. This team partners with POps to build technology to achieve this, using first and third-party solutions.

Within POps Works, the Talent Ecosystem team represents an opportunity to magnify the impact of Googlers. This team’s work has a direct influence on the careers of Googlers globally. In this role, you will partner with Product Managers, Business Systems Analysts, Engineering, and POps stakeholders to inform our direction and roadmap.

As a Compensation Systems Business Systems Analyst, you will use your talents for solution design, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that will create a cohesive compensation experience for Google.

Responsibilities

• Work with end-user groups to define project key performance indicators and metrics.
• Lead systems implementation projects, such as requirements documentation, systems design, test documentation/execution, and issue identification and resolution.
• Work with cross-functional product teams to ensure successful completion of projects.
• Plan, prioritize, and deliver systems enhancements; support and upgrade implemented systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams, Platform teams, and others to design, build, deploy, and support solutions using Google’s internal technology and analytical platforms.
