Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Econometrics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in software development, quantitative analytics, or data science in a corporate treasury, portfolio management, investment research, or a related financial markets domain.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Google Cloud Platform, specifically BigQuery and AI Platform Notebooks, and repository management.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, R, and SQL.
  • Ability to learn about financial instruments and Treasury operations within investment frameworks.
  • Ability to work effectively within diverse teams and promote a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent quantitative, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and implementation of advanced data-driven solutions for Treasury decision-making frameworks, utilizing state-of-the-art quantitative techniques, including AI/ML.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Treasury peers and business leaders to identify automation opportunities to streamline processes leveraging Google Cloud Platform capabilities.
  • Manage data vendor relationships, optimize data feeds, and enhance Treasury's data repository to make it accessible for actionable insights cross-Treasury and Finance.
  • Create advanced visualizations and reports to clearly communicate complex data insights to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Advocate best practices in data analytics, proactively research emerging techniques and technologies, and promote continuous improvement in processes, standards, and engineering practices.
