Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of project management experience with an emphasis in data architecture or data visualization.
• Experience in predictive analysis and data visualization techniques using relevant tools such as Tableau and SQL.
• Experience in data modeling and database design.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or a similar role.
• Ability to influence without authority and get buy-in.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity, and proactively provide structure through process implementation, training, and documentation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

As a Business Operations Lead, you will work closely with our data engineering team to constantly improve our data strategy and quality. You will decide how our data will be sourced, stored, processed, and evaluated before it is transformed into useful business insights. In addition, you will focus on creating and rolling out new processes for external vendors to follow and ensure solid execution.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for all data gathering, evaluation, and supply for the entire reverse logistics organization to influence and identify gaps in our operations and in partnership build scalable data-driven solutions.
• Build technical roadmaps for data engineering teams that support reverse logistics operations globally to ensure that reverse logistics project and priorities are well defined and in motion on the engineering end.
• Establish a well formulated data management operation that relies on processes, policies, automation, and close partnership with the data engineering team in order to provide reliable data and business critical insights.
• Lead the creation of data pipelines, processes, and documentation to effectively retrieve and store business relevant data from new suppliers.
• Develop solutions that track the performance of our business and partner with peers to drive better decisions.
