Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in IT security and/ or within the risk management space, including access management, risk assessment, audit, and compliance.

Preferred qualifications:

• Professional information security certification (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), or related certification).
• Experience in consulting, particularly in risk management, information security, privacy, and compliance.
• Experience performing merger and acquisition due diligence.
• Experience working with startups and early stage engineering projects.
• Experience with information security and privacy compliance frameworks, controls, and best practices (e.g., Trust Services Principles, ISO 27000 series, PCI DSS, FedRamp, NIST 800.53, General Data Protection Regulation, regulations governing personally identifiable information, and other regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, etc).

As the Program Manager, you will manage compliance risk, satisfy legal and regulatory obligations, and enhance customer trust.

The Bets Compliance Risk Management team provides guidance and support for navigating data security and privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Work with a variety of products, infrastructure, software designs, and technology stacks.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Work collaboratively with teams across disciplines from Engineering, Legal, Product, Human Resources, Marketing, and others to drive change and achieve goals.
• Lead, manage, and facilitate compliance processes, including audits with internal and external stakeholders to provide timely deliverables and rapid remediations.
• Enable the company to grow and build relationships with our customers, partners, and government entities globally.
