Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Science, Business, a related technical disciplines, management consulting, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, Data Science, related technical disciplines, or management consulting
  • Experience with workforce planning for global organizations (e.g., utilization of workforce management tools and processes)
  • Experience in a program/project management

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in domain capacity planning and management
  • Ability to be comfortable shifting between managing detailed analysis and big picture thinking and customizing communication based on the audience
  • Ability to have a firm sense of accountability and ownership for the project lifecycle
  • Ability to use project management techniques to drive physical or development tasks to completion
  • Excellent aptitude for quantitative assessment and detailed analysis across multiple business and technical disciplines with high attention to detail

The Strategy and Innovation (S&I) Team is responsible for shaping and guiding Google’s People Strategy, our company-wide plan for how we invest in people and culture. We partner with business leaders across Google and People Operations to provide innovative and helpful people programs and support to all Googlers. Strategy and Innovation use expertise and client-focused relationships to work cross-functionally to scope strategic initiatives that will bring the Google-wide People Strategy

to life for Googlers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Support operations and analytic projects related to the allocation of People Strategy resource needs to ensure strategic initiatives are able to be flawlessly executed. 
  • Manage multiple interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity by using technical judgment to drive project delivery, challenge proposals, and build consensus.
  • Work with partner teams to understand the scope, needs assessment, timelines, and quantitative and qualitative data necessary to successfully deliver People Strategy projects. 
  • Produce actionable insights and recommendations on People Strategy capacity/resource forecasting needs during annual business planning.
