Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
  • Experience with Data Analytics.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage team of software engineers.
  • Work with Product Management and stakeholders to create and execute and strategy and roadmap.
  • Maintain a healthy team culture and help the team grow.
  • Build expertise in Google analysis, storage, and processing systems to leverage existing ones, and help create where we need to build new.
  • Conduct initial analysis of our data sets for both validity testing, as well as early testing of hypothesis.
