Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product management and development in a semiconductor company.
  • 2 years of experience in SoC design and development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience with accelerators and solving challenges of heterogeneous compute
  • Experience in performance modeling, tracing and simulation methods
  • Experience in performance analysis and tuning
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning models and its application in domains such as Imaging, Speech, and Health
  • Understanding of tradeoffs between performance, power and area in chip design

Responsibilities

  • Define the overall performance goals and strategy for our SoC product portfolio to build performant and power efficient solutions for our products.
  • Work closely with the Engineering teams to create a roadmap of technologies and ideas relevant for SoC performance to intercept the product roadmap.
  • Follow relevant trends in the market including architecture innovations in various areas including heterogeneous computing and the use of AI/ML in solving computational problems.
  • Stay up-to-date on the industry landscape in the mobile SoC market, identify opportunities to innovate, and differentiate including building strategic partnerships with IP vendors.
  • Work closely with various hardware and software teams to understand workload trends in future, help guide our IP and SoCs roadmap through hardware-software co-design opportunities.
