Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering or Materials Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience leading programs for industrial infrastructure.
• Experience in automation with conveyors.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with flow logistics.
• Experience with Pro-E, AutoCAD, or equivalent systems.
• Experience with design and implementation (conveyors, workstations, or other industrial tooling).

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

The Hardware Operations team is responsible for deploying and maintaining the physical systems behind Google's powerful technology. The team also takes care of the infrastructure that makes up Google’s cloud infrastructure and the backend physical systems that power Google’s Machine Learning.

As a Technical Program Manager, Data Center Operations, you will be responsible to help build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure to support the maintenance of Google's systems and network.

Responsibilities

• Work with industrial tooling related to data center operations.
• Create, modify, and enhance mechanical designs for tooling related to work in the data centers.
• Review material flows for hardware operations processes related to industrial tooling.
