Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science) or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with analysis applications (e.g., extracting insights, performing statistical analysis, or solving business problems), and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the use of data-warehouse tables and operational data, experience with F1, and ability to effectively write/modify SQL queries of high complexity.
  • Experience with effective experimental design and training, and ability to apply statistical training to real-world data.
  • Experience in data analysis, survey design, statistical modeling, and working with statistical packages (e.g., R, SAS, Stata, MATLAB).
  • Experience with business intelligence and dashboard creation.
  • Ability to translate analysis results into business recommendations with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to drive business impact (e.g., cost reduction, improvements to user experience, mitigating risks).
  • Deliver data-driven product insights with analytical deep dives, helping shape product strategy, design, launch, and optimization. Design and measure product experiments and other product optimizations.
  • Create business cases and forecasts, measuring the impact of new launches. Communicate findings, recommendations, and metrics updates to Payments leadership and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Define metrics and develop reports, and iteratively build and prototype dashboards to provide insights at scale.
  • Work with Engineering and Product Management teams who build analytics data to define data requirements and metrics.
