Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years of experience in data security
  • Experience in Python, Statistics, and Machine Learning
  • Experience working with user-level and aggregated data

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in the ad privacy space
  • Experience with first-party data activation, measurement and data modeling, consent, and privacy standards
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform

Responsibilities

  • Work in close collaboration with the data science community, the Global Business Practice, Privacy Solutions Engineering teams, and Sales to develop and deliver privacy related solutions.
  • Design, develop, and prototype new privacy related solutions, in collaboration with engineers, that follow data protection standards and meet client needs.
  • Use a variety of machine learning and statistical techniques to model outcomes in the presence of data loss or removal.
  • Experiment with new privacy technologies to develop solutions for areas not yet included in Google's portfolio.
  • Serve as a thought leader, reviewing and critiquing code and solutions that are developed by other data scientists and engineers.
