Job Description

Join the Wholesale Client Profitability (WCP) Change Management group that focuses on testing refinements to client methodologies and creating new Intelligent Solutions in our data warehouse. They will achieve this by working with senior leaders to understand and translate their business requirements into actionable results. In the current environment, the group has been receiving incredible exposure to senior leaders that are reviewing client’s profitability metrics. 

As the Analytics Solutions Associate, you will manage a range of projects coordinating client profitability data and reporting improvements. You will possess analytical, critical thinking and project management capabilities as well as sound organizational and communication skills.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop new Intelligent Solutions in Alteryx and Tableau to meet the demands from our internal stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively with business and technology stakeholders to deliver proactive solutions, prioritize requests, and improve client profitability data and reporting
  • Conduct analyses on key issues impacting client profitability to determine root cause and deliver quality documentation capturing proposed solutions
  • Build and maintain key relationships across business stakeholders (e.g., project managers, business users, subject matter experts), and operations and technology partners
  • Support WCP production related activities with project impact analyses, thorough unit and end-to-end testing, and subject matter expertise
  • Prepare and distribute data driven communications, profitability presentations, and business analyses with accuracy and adherence to JPMC brand style guidelines

Required qualifications, capabilities, skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Solutions, Data Science, or similar discipline required;
  • 4+ years of experience in financial services, business analytics, project management, or equivalent.
  • Experience building dashboards in Tableau/PowerBI required
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Cognos, SQL, Alteryx and SharePoint required
  • Superior written and verbal business communication, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
  • Ability to work independently in a fast moving environment
  • Effectively prioritize and multi-task
  • Advanced qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with ability to synthesize large data sets and identify targeted, crisp messages- Competence to influence, negotiate and manage conflicts across all levels

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, skills

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Solutions, Data Science, or similar discipline preferred
  • prior experience with Qlik Sense and Python is a plus
  • Confluence, JIRA, JIRA queries, JQL is a plus
