Job Description

We are the AI Acceleration (AIX) team, a new group headquartered in Palo Alto, tasked with achieving this vision and we are looking to hire top talent in AI and Machine Learning to join us. You will join the AI Services team and work alongside other leaders who have built and shipped AI and Machine Learning products at Google, Facebook, Microsoft, and Salesforce. More importantly, you will be developing transformational AI/ML capabilities that continue to propel JPMC as the leader in Financial Services

What will you do?

• Develop cutting edge AI/ML Platform services using public cloud hybrid architecture and modern standards and patterns.
• Work closely with AI Research team in XAI space to productize the research and make it widely available to various internal customers in JPMC
• Develop AI Services in NLP, Speech and QuantAI

What do we need?

• 10+ years of application development experience with ability to drive the product end to end from design to delivery
• Deep expertise across application, data, security and infrastructure disciplines
• 10+ years of combined experience showing the breadth of hands-on experience on both backend and frontend.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience working on AWS Cloud Based applications development using EC2, CodeDeploy, EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, RDS Aurora MySQL & Postgres, DynamoDB, EMR, and Kinesis. Strong understanding of AWS networking, security, IAM roles, monitoring and application debugging is critical. Any knowledge of AWS Sagemaker, pySpark and data analytics tools will be a plus.
• Knowledge of building hybrid applications connecting between cloud and on-prem will be desirable
• Knowledge of Kubernetes development, deployment, and configuration is a must
• At least 5 years of experience with Spring Java and 3 years with Spring Boot applications and REST APIs.
• At least 1 year with Python 3 and Flask/FastAPI
• At least 2 years of experience working with Core JavaScript Library and ReactJS.
• At least 2 years of experience with Single Sign On/OIDC integration and deep understanding of OAUTH, and JWT/JWE/JWS. IDAnywhere knowledge will be a plus.
• Solid understanding of improving and debugging backend performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with application production readiness, production monitoring, and production issue triaging
• Knowledge of industry standard software best practices, development lifecycle processes and Agile tools and methodologies.
