Job Description

As a Quantitative Analytics Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of banking for over 40 million Chase customers. You will be an integral part of our team dedicated to modernizing the bank's deposits infrastructure through data-driven insights and analysis. Your role will involve partnering closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, providing analytical support, and translating technical concepts into understandable insights.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide analytical support modernizing the bank's deposits infrastructure.
  • Utilize your expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar tools to extract, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders enabling informed decision-making.
  • Develop compelling data visualizations and narratives to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Apply agile development principles to adapt quickly to changing requirements and deliver value iteratively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (e.g., Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field) or equivalent quantitative job experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience using Python, R, or similar tools for statistical analysis and data manipulation.
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and experience building data pipelines.
  • Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Familiarity with Cloud technologies such as Snowflake a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile development principles and methodologies a plus.
