Job Description

The J.P. Morgan Payments Pricing and Revenue Manager is responsible for pricing analysis and the annual review / update of standard and exception pricing. With broad scope covering statistical analysis and recommendation-based problem solving, the Manager will have a dynamic role in a project-based environment. Product scope focus will be on J.P. Morgan Treasury Services.

The role will require the candidate to work on multiple projects simultaneously and self-manage deadlines and deliverables, clearly articulating progress and milestones to senior management.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and programming skills, the ability to work successfully across teams, and have experience utilizing big data environments.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance pricing benchmarks using advanced statistical methods
  • Assess current and front-book pricing with recommendations for back-book price adjustments and suggested front-book pricing approval thresholds
  • Perform ad-hoc and recurring analysis supporting our product and sales partners
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously while managing deadlines and deliverables
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships and provide progress updates to senior-level leaders

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 7+ years’ experience in hands-on analytics and use of analytics to drive decision making
  • Experience in the payments industry, including an understanding of the payments value chain. Experience treasury services preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities. Demonstrated ability to frame hard, open ended questions and find creative solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in owning hands-on analytical assignments end-to-end and ability to summarize findings to an executive audience in a fact-based and succinct manner; ability to work well with deadlines
  • Strong SQL background in querying large datasets; aptitude for technical concepts and ideas
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work across functions as well as with outside parties to ensure alignment and timely implementation of initiatives
  • Ability to build trust-based relationships; executive presence and presentation skills
  • High achievement orientation with ability to lead and motivate others around results

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in using statistical and visualization packages in Alteryx, Tableau, R, SAS or Python is preferred. Advanced degree in a quantitative field, MBA preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
