As an Editor on the Channel Marketing team you will oversee the Media team's content production process and editorial operations. You will be a strong leader passionate about creating engaging, empowering, and expert-backed financial services content. You will understand the financial services space social determinants of financial well-being and are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will be committed to creating rigorously researched, truly trustworthy financial wellness content.

You will manage an editorial team that adheres to regulatory guidance unequivocally. Simultaneously, you will foster a culture built on collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and SEO best practices. You must be highly organized and deadline-driven to track the day-to-day tasks crucial to our business.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage, educate, and motivate the editorial team to create high-quality content, programs, and products that meet the firm’s digital KPIs
  • Collaborate with the SEO team and various stakeholders to execute a content strategy, content calendar, and content mix
  • Engage stakeholders across the digital organization to ideate editorial programs that drive engaged audiences to create meaningful content experiences for our consumers
  • Assign, top edit, and optimize content using SEO best practices and the firm’s regulatory and legal controls within Adobe Workfront
  • Work and support internal stakeholders to drive acquisition and retention and help us meet team OKRs
  • Feel comfortable presenting and reporting content insights to executive leadership
  • Develop actionable content insights using SEO tools such as Brightedge
  • Report on content workflow progress to leadership and cross line of business partners using Adobe Workfront.

Required Qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years in digital media, ideally with a focus on financial services
  • Understanding of Open AI/Chat GPT as a platform in building operational efficiencies.
  • Experience in creating content for Search Engine Optimization according to Google’s best practices including E-A-T and Google’s content quality guidelines.
  • Experience in overseeing e-commerce-focused content is required
  • Skilled in top editing, writing highly clickable display copy, writing engaging content,
  • Must be very comfortable creating content within a highly regulated industry
  • Ability to perform data analysis and build reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
