As a Senior Product Associate in Consumer and community Banking ,you will be supporting and assisting in the design and development of the next generation of offers/ad platform to deliver value to Chase customers beyond the core financial product features. You will have an opportunity to craft the product strategy, develop market-leading product innovations, and be the steward of capturing an understanding of advertising market needs, present and future, and translating into feature requirements and effectively managing in a matrixed organization. You will be working with scrum teams to create requirements and drive delivery

Job responsibilities

  • Collect requirements and feedback from business partners and project leads in formal and informal settings; Juggling multiple projects at any given time
  • Become a subject-matter expert on offers/Ad tech platform and area product owned systems
  • Perform in depth analysis for fact finding on existing behavior of the system and business processes or procedures related to the project goal
  • Form strong bonds and a healthy working relationship with the scrum teams they work with
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog along with Product leads, refining Epics and Stories in Jira fulfilling the project goals, and partnering with Tech and Agility leads on sequencing
  • Monitor development of product (escalating issues and removing blockers) and pre-production testing, as well as conduct demos, update and maintain key documentation
  • Establish plan for roll-out / release of new features and functionality
  • Work with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) teams to ensure test coverage; Build and manage relationships across dependent teams and stakeholders from multiple regions and product areas
  • Partner with line of defense partners to maintain required controls and approvals
  • Work in tandem with Product and Tech Leads to perform root cause analysis of potential issues, propose solutions that ensure proper remediation and sustainability and communicate progress to senior leadership

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience in product development, technology, or consulting with exposure to rigorous and large-scale program and product management
  • Must have experience in Agile approach to development and delivery
  • Must have ability easily assimilate information and learn new applications and processes
  • Must have Agile Experience with tools such as Jira and understanding of Backlog Prioritization Techniques
  • Must have experience working with system architecture, data frameworks, batch processing and event driven/restful APIs
  • Digital advertising experience, target marketing preferred
  • Understands modern Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Business Intelligence platforms and capabilities including how to leverage multiple back-end technologies to deliver a cohesive, comprehensive, and dynamic User Interface
  • Solid organizational and project management skills, including strong follow through skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and workstreams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present facts, thoughts, and ideas in a clear, concise, and convincing manner to senior stakeholders and partners
  • Has a do what it takes attitude and is flexible, adaptable and a team-player first
  • Great at balancing strategic & creative thinking and tangible execution
