Job Description

This is an experienced analyst position on our Home Lending Data & Analytics team. Success in this role will require you to wield a mix of strategy, business analysis and data science skills. You will be a trusted partner and contribute to the firm’s overall Home Lending Strategy with job responsibilities that include:

Job responsibilities

• Proactively identify and communicate meaningful trends/patterns/actionable insights in data to stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Strategy
• You will help drive strategy decisions by being data curious and understanding stakeholder needs while keeping an open mind and challenging the status quo
• Implementing predictive analytic models within targeted marketing campaigns which may include sizing various customer segments and appropriately forecasting the incremental benefit of those marketing efforts
• Sourcing data from various platforms in order to tell the story of what happened as well as provide guidance on how to continually improve the business’ effectiveness in meeting customer needs
• Analyzing customer activities and behaviors to understand where customer touchpoints are needed (e.g. upper funnel, lower funnel and right party contact, etc..)
• Assist the modeling team with data inputs that lead to an overall higher predictive ability
• Collaborate with sales strategy to pilot programs, measure the effectiveness of those programs, and implement within a production space if/when pilot is deemed successful

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Robust ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively and confidently (both verbal and written) with relevant stakeholders to gain buy-in
• Proficiency with SQL including merging data from various sources
• Experience with at least one of the following versatile, cross-technology tools/languages - Python, SAS, R or Alteryx
• 3+ years experience working as a business analyst or similar role
• Experience in Mortgage Banking or working with Marketing/CRM data a plus but not required
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Hybrid-60% in office.
