As an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Senior Product Associate, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. In this role as an Associate Product Manager, you will be able to ignite your passion for the technologies, Product Management, and innovation by shaping the future of biometric payments.

Job responsibilities

  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap for biometric authentication, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy; Owns the performance of an AI/ML-based biometrics application and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Work with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into interface requirements; Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in biometric technology and incorporate them into product development
  • Stay informed of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to biometric authentication; Research and analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for biometric-based authentication solutions
  • Identify and manage risks associated with biometric solution development and deployment; Conduct user testing and gather feedback to continuously improve and enhance biometric solutions
  • Identify and manage relationships with third parties and partners; Communicate updates and progress on biometric authentication projects to stakeholders and senior management

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies and their applications in business
  • Proficient in measuring the performance and bias of AI/ML applications
  • Strong knowledge of biometric modalities, biometrics-based user authentication, security and privacy of biometric data and challenges of the biometrics technology
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead and influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external coordination and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience in support and/or implementation of the biometrics technology
  • Knowledge of payment systems including payment terminals, authentication and authorization etc.
  • Knowledge of identity proofing and remote identity verification use-cases
