Job Description

This role will be key in building a robust foundation for the taxonomy for the Conversational AI models for the Chase Digital Assistant product. The role collaborates with product owners both within and outside of the team, designers, engineering leads and data analytics experts.

This position requires the ability to come up to speed quickly on Chase architecture for Conversational AI platform. Experience working with Natural Language Platforms, Linguistics and Machine learning technologies is required for this position. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for NLU space. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of taxonomy and annotation process for CDA, search and potential others
  • Support design and development of conversational solutions using Rasa
  • Support the training of intent models and entity extraction models and collaborate to create conversational dialog flows using tools and APIs provided by the AI platform
  • Analyze full customer conversation for intent/entity categorization and data driven NLU design
  • Lead discussions to translate high-level business requirements into specific technical requirements and produce and communicate solution designs to the development team
  • Actively work with development teams during design and playback sessions to refine the solution design and any identify improvements
  • Continuously develop knowledge of emerging technologies and analytics techniques and support the pursuit of business development opportunities. This includes advancements in conversational AI, understanding of vendor roadmaps, and identification of new capabilities that are released

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computational linguistics, human computer interaction, user interface design, or other related technical or quantitative field from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of overall experience with a minimum and knowledge of conversational AI
  • Knowledge of conversational dialog systems, machine learning, and cloud computing
  • Solid understanding of machine learning & natural language processing (NLP) fundamentals
  • Experience working with data analysis for intent/entity categorization and data driven conversation design
