We are seeking a Software Engineer/Architect with strong AI and Machine Learning (ML) skills. The candidate will need a combination of business focus, strong analytical and problem solving skills and programming knowledge to be able to cycle through data, propose and implement a new solution. Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives and drive the research and development of high quality machine learning (ML) models and services to deliver these insights and solutions
  • Operate across a wide range of ML approaches, including unsupervised, supervised, and reinforcement learning, for tasks including natural language processing (NLP), data anomaly detection, classification, graph analysis, pattern detection, leveraging methods including tree ensembles, neural networks, and clustering techniques
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
  • Clear understanding of end-to-end ML model build value chain and deployment methods (ML Operations)
  • Provide statistical trend analysis on large structured and unstructured data sets and analysis of advanced algorithms including AI Concepts.
  • Build ML models, fine-tune test results, and present findings using visualization techniques.
  • Manage full lifecycle of projects and solutions – including ideation, architecture, engineering, prototyping, and productionization.
  • Define data requirements and design systems / flows for AI & ML capabilities
  • Collaborate across groups, to deliver data driven insights, recommendations, and solutions that solve important business problems
  • Manage the relationship with internal clients, gathering requirements, understanding business domain, presenting results, and developing a trusted adviser relationship
  • Provide thought leadership, subject matter expertise and serve as trusted advisor in the analytics discipline
  • Work independently and collaboratively (as needed) within the team to achieve the desired outcomes of a data science efforts

Required Skills:

  • B.S. (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred) in Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or related quantitative field. (or) Directly related work experience.
  • 7+ years hands on experiences in data mining, machine learning, predictive modeling in a large-scale, corporate environment
  • Experience with major machine learning frameworks, including but not limited to Anaconda and TensorFlow
  • Proven ability to apply AI/ML and visualization frameworks 
  • Experience in building distributed services in a public cloud environment (AWS ,Azure, or GCP, etc.)
  • Experience with deploying and interacting with source and artifact management tools (GitHub, GitLab, JFrog Artifactory, etc.)
  • Experience with application containerization strategies, build, deploy and maintain Micro Services leveraging technologies such as Docker, Spark and/or Kubernetes
  • Experience with languages such as: C++, C#, Java, R, Python, PySpark, etc.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Travis CI, Circle CI etc.)
  • Application deployment in an agile/ scrum environment
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter with great skills in teamwork, partnership, and communications both verbal and written

Preferred Experience:

  • Testing Experience - Unit & Functional Testing, Python BDD Framework or any automation tools
  • Experience in developing and delivering User-Interfaces (UIs) using an OO approach
