Job Description

In this high-impact role, you can step up as a tech leader and innovator by providing your knowledge and mentorship to infrastructure engineers. Lead teams towards excellence and demonstrate your skills as a leader.

As a Senior Manager of Infrastructure Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector in Collaboration and Communications Product Line, you provide overall direction for team members and work on our Trader Voice and Experience Product. The goal of the team is to deliver a first class communications experience to JPMC traders, through robust infrastructure, software delivery and intelligent integrations.

Job responsibilities

• Serves in a leadership role for multiple technical teams and collaborates with others within the function
• Anticipates the needs and potential dependencies of the broader team
• Designs and delivers and end-to-end communication experience to the Trader desktop
• Defines and communicates product vision and strategy in line with the customers’ long-term business goals
• Conducts market research and tracks industry developments with regards to productivity, collaboration, data, AI/ML solutions and understands implications to product vision and strategy
• Partners with his product counterpart on the product's definition, product roadmap & customer facing SLOs/SLAs. Prioritizes the product backlog & maintains a vision for the product
• Advises junior engineers and technologists. Adds to the team’s culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, respect for team members and prioritizes diverse representation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience managing infrastructure engineering teams
• Strong engineering experience designing and deploying trader voice solutions across a global estate
• Demonstrated success in an engineering management role with an emphasis on delivering trader voice solutions to end users
• Deep understanding of the trader voice product lifecycle, including product strategy development, customer engagement, architecture design, engineering, implementation, and operations
• Extensive knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies
• Strong understanding of product, software and engineering methodologies and practices (SDLC, Agile, Scrum, etc.)
• Knowledge of infrastructure engineering technologies and programming languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)
• Exposure to managing budgets

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Experience writing technical stories in JIRA/confluence using industry standard notations
