Amazon Connect Wisdom is building upon the success of Amazon Connect, and delivers contact center agents the right information when they need it. With Amazon Connect Wisdom, you can ingest your existing knowledge bases and make all of your knowledge documents available to agents in one unified experience. During a customer contact, Amazon Connect Wisdom listens to the conversation and provides agents with recommendations based on what the customer is asking in real time.

We have a rapidly growing customer base and an exciting charter in front of us that includes solving highly complex engineering and algorithmic problems. We are looking for passionate and talented Software Development Engineers to join us to innovate on this new service that addresses customer needs to build modern contact centers in the cloud. The position represents a rare opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing business soon after launch, and help shape the technology and product as we grow. You will be playing a crucial role in developing the next generation contact center, and get the opportunity to design and deliver scaleable, resilient systems while maintaining a constant customer focus.

As a developer on our team, will have have opportunities to build engineering infrastructure to create our ML model training, runtime, and hosting environments as well as develop customer-focused multi-platform web clients. You’ll own code end-to-end from design to development, and work closely with senior technical leaders within the team and across AWS. You’ll have a sound understanding of computer science fundamentals and practical industry experience, working across the stack with technology involving modern web, machine learning, Big Data, and more.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one software programming language.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• You are passionate about MLOps and how to support ML model development.
