Job Description

Job summary
Join our CloudTrail Insights team working on big data processing and analytics, developing algorithms and statistical models for anomaly or outlier detection, and building highly reliable and scalable training and inference engines. CloudTrail Insights is a new feature that helps customers identify unusual operational activity in their AWS accounts such as spikes in resource provisioning or gaps in periodic maintenance activity. We launched our built-from-the-ground-up platform and services for CloudTrail Insights at Re: Invent 2019 and need a Scientist to join our effort to design and build new algorithms and models that make it easier and faster than ever for customers to find and root cause a broad range of unusual activity.
You'll be part of a strong team of CloudTrail Data Scientists, Scientists, and Software Engineers working to achieve our vision to provide customers with a next generation solution that uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to monitor and manage their systems in real-time, detecting potential issues, providing root cause, and enabling automated remediation. Customers generate billions of activity events from their systems daily, so customers demand more sophisticated machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions to analyze the overwhelming amount of data in order to automate, predict, and remediate operational issues.
A successful Science candidate will have experience working through ambiguity, helping to define requirements with product managers and incorporating customer feedback, as well as identifying potential problems before they become real problems. Join the team and have a chance to build a service at AWS scale! For more information on CloudTrail and CloudTrail Insights, see http://aws.amazon.com/cloudtrail
