We are the Computer Vision team within AWS that is responsible for defining the AI strategy and delivering machine learning products and services across multiple industries, segments and use cases to AWS customers. Today, the team delivers multiple Computer Vision services such as Amazon Rekognition for video and images, and Amazon Textract for documents.

The AWS Computer Vision team is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect on the Amazon Textract service team who will be responsible for driving customer adoption in several strategic industries and use cases for Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), which is one of the fastest growing areas for AIML and is estimated to be a $4B+ market segment in of itself. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role where you will be directly owning the technical success of some of AWS's largest and most strategic customers with Computer Vision services. This is also a highly collaborative role where you will partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Scientists, Business Development Managers, Partner Development Managers, Solution Architects, Professional Services and others to enable customer adoption and revenue attainment. You will develop white papers, blogs, reference implementations, labs and presentations to evangelize design patterns, reference architectures and best practices for IDP. You are also expected to be one of a key voice of the customer in raising awareness of functional, experiential and other product gaps within the team while also using your ingenuity and skills to deliver quick-win solutions while continuing to influence and shape the long-term product roadmaps.

Key job responsibilities
1. Customer Success through Deep Technical Subject Matter Expertise - Drive customer adoption of intelligent document processing features and revenue attainment by going deep into their use cases, earning their trust as a technical SME and developing reference architectures, best practices, cross-service integrations, code samples and more to address their needs.
2. Influence Product Roadmap - As a SME who will be closely supporting customers across our most strategic and important use cases, you are expected to be one of the most vocal voices of the customer in the product team in highlighting key gaps and opportunities and be a lead influencer in roadmap prioritization.
3. Thought Leadership – Evangelize AWS Computer Vision services and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white-papers, reference architectures, demos and public-speaking events such as AWS Summits, AWS re:Invent, AWS re:Mars with internal (field SAs, TAMs, BDs) and external stakeholders (customers, partners).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications or infrastructures
• 8+ years within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• Professional experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS
• Experience with AWS services related to the AI/ML ecosystem, particularly AWS Kinesis, AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, Elastic Search, Amazon S3, AWS Container Services like EKS, Fargate etc., AWS Step Functions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience building product integrations across Computer Vision, NLP and other technologies for Intelligent Document Processing
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) or Business Process Management Software (BPMS) technologies
• Experience developing Low Code/No Code business applications
• Experience influencing and building mindshare convincingly with any audience.
