The Monetization and Advertiser Growth team owns the decisions on how to price ads, and how to show ads that are beneficial to both shoppers and advertisers. The team owns initiatives that directly impact Amazon's advertising revenue in two ways: (i) our models determine what price Amazon should charge advertisers for a click on an ad, and (ii) we decide on which ads to show to optimize for shopper experience, advertiser sales growth and long term advertising revenue for Amazon. To achieve this, we use machine learning, causal modeling, constrained optimization, and offline simulations. We're a talented team of scientists and engineers working on complex and ambiguous problems. We are looking for scientists to join us to make a direct impact on shopper experience, advertiser sales growth and Amazon's advertising revenue.
