AWS is seeking a seasoned AI/ML Senior Business Development Manager (Sr. Specialist) for Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), to help us scale customer adoption of IDP workflows leveraging our AI services (namely Amazon Textract and Amazon Comprehend). Your responsibilities will include identifying market opportunities, building sales initiatives, and managing a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market for IDP. You will partner with Solution Architects, Sales, Business, and the AI Service teams to enable customer adoption, growth, and revenue attainment.

The ideal candidate will possess both a business and sales background that enables them to support an engagement and interact at the CxO/VP level, as well as a technical background that enables them to easily interact with software developers and architects. He/she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus while driving change.

If you are a qualified and accepted candidate, you may work out of any of the following cities: Eastern Time Zone - New York, New Jersey, Washington DC Metro/Dulles. Travel up to 25% may be possible.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of business development, enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, or program/product management experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in either SaaS-based adoption or enterprise sales in cloud across hosted and managed services.
  • Experience launching new SaaS or hardware based cloud services, and developing cloud products
  • 3+ years of experience developing, launching, managing and deploying AI or ML products.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to turn detailed data analysis into strategic insights to drive customer adoption and make appropriate recommendations to the business.
  • Experience with, and detailed knowledge of managed services and insights related to cloud computing.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and GTM/RTM planning.
  • Product launch experience (SaaS/IaaS/XaaS preferred).
  • Experience developing and deploying GTM strategies for AIML products.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key.
  • Experience writing articles (business and technical), speaking at business or technology conferences, or publishing whitepapers / thought leadership content.
  • Solid enterprise negotiation skills, and business and financial acumen.
  • Consulting or change leadership roles within enterprise organizations.
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 and/or Global 2000 organizations.
