Job Description

Business Lead for Data Science Digital Health Global Development (DSDHGD), Platform solutions will build close alignment with key stakeholders and product owners across departments, including DSSPE, GDAA, and GDDS to ensure successful partnership and collaboration in achieving collective strategic goals. Drive the program management and advancement of additional new capabilities such as leveraging RWE, AI/ML modeling, Productivity Workstream and Gen AI.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the DSSPE, GDDS, DSAA and Trials360.ai program owners to define the product vision, strategy, and evolution of platform solutions and other advancement programs including Generative AI solutions:

  • Responsible for understanding customer needs, defining user stories, and prioritizing feature development in alignment with DSDH GD TA leads.
  • Lead and own governance of the Core Team and Steering Committee by setting objectives, ensuring a regular cadence of discussions and documenting issues/agreements and next steps.
  • Ensure cross-department alignment with the overall strategic objectives of the Trial360.ai platform.
  • Collaborate with DSSPE, DSGD, DSAA and GD to drive the evolution of various platform solutions such as the Trials360.ai platform, including all applications, while staying up to date with JRD business requirements, industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and improvements to enhance the capabilities of the platform.
  • Collaborate with GD Fire team to drive the development of jointly owned and co-developed tools: (ie. illuminator, Site & PI profile, etc.)

Lead Cross-Portfolio Prioritization and Scale-Up across GDDS and manage a comprehensive roadmap and book of work for Trials360.ai and other advancement projects as assigned, focusing on scalability and system feature enhancement to fulfil timely and prioritized study needs:

  • Develop and maintain a demand-based tracker to drive prioritization of indications and clinical studies, clearly articulating rationale, and purpose behind each enhancement, emphasizing the value it brings to stakeholders.
  • Manage Roadmap for E2E Product development, Enhancement and Operational deliveries and Timeline to Risk-Mitigation plan
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define detailed requirements and milestones for enhancements and supervise progress and ensure timely delivery of roadmap items.
  • Collaborate and align with DSDH GD TA specific team leads and teams to define portfolio prioritization and deliverables.
  • Align on roadmap, communication plan & training needs with Workstream leaders and Program Owners
  • Routinely provide updates on all programs to DSGD leadership and DSDH SLT as relevant

Partnerships with Key Stakeholders:

  • Foster strong partnerships with GD partners, and DS colleagues in DSSPE, GDAA, and DSGD departments.
  • Work collaboratively to align goals, share insights, and leverage expertise to further develop Trials360.ai and other projects
  • Lead the team in developing and maintaining productive relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA, or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, and Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in managing software products, preferably in the clinical trials or healthcare domain
  • Knowledge of clinical trials design, conduct, and data management
  • Familiarity with clinical trials regulations, standards, and systems, such as ICH GCP, FDA, EMA, CDISC, and EDC
  • Proficiency in project management, agile methodologies, and software development tools
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, quality, and user experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Expected Base Salary: $157,000 - $236,000
