Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a MLOps Manager, Pharma Data Solutions, Technology Services. The role is based out of Raritan, NJ with flexibility required to work with various stakeholders across multiple sites in NJ.

The MLOps Manager is responsible for driving and enabling automated machine learning model deployments to production systems across the J&J Pharmaceutical sector’s key initiatives. You will work closely with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and multiple Technology Service departments implement an end-to-end machine learning model life-cycle, from deployment to optimization, including monitoring and maintenance. Additionally, you will be helping to lead and shape the overall MLOps strategy and capabilities, through technology, processes, best practices, and standards across multiple business areas.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to understand requirements, processes, technologies, and machine learning models
• Design end-to-end strategy and fully implement scalable machine learning operations to production
• Foster positive relationships with other teams to build out solutions leveraging other organizational assets.
• Act as a consultant to other teams and provide technical leadership in the MLOps space.
• Keep current with Technology trends to drive standard methodologies within Technology Services.

Qualifications

Education

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; focus in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or other technical related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with AWS Cloud and Data Warehouse technologies.
• Some combination of the following core skills is required:
  • AWS Cloud
  • Data Warehousing and Analytics
  • DevOps and CICD
  • Programming and Analysis Tools
• Some combination of the following additional skills is preferred:
  • MLOps Frameworks
  • Data Science Platforms
  • Machine Learning Frameworks and Techniques
  • Distributed Data and Computing
  • Containerization
  • ETL Processing
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of AWS Cloud technologies with preference to the following AWS certifications: Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer, Data Analytics and/or Machine Learning
• Ability to manage low-level details of a project while understanding the bigger picture of the IT strategy is required.
• With little supervision, must be able to define, shape, and drive tasks and projects to completion while effectively collaborating strategically with others is required.
• Strong communication (written and oral), leadership, decision-making and influencing skills are required.
• This position is based out of Raritan, NJ with up to 10% travel may be required.
