Job Description

This is a high impact position with the opportunity to partner with leaders in medicine, data science, health economics, marketing, and other key fields in the Global Commercial Strategy Organization (GCSO) to craft the future of one of the world’s largest healthcare businesses. In the GCSO Technology team, we work to grow the value of our pipeline of innovative medicines by identifying and acting upon opportunities for technology-enabled, data-driven product development and go-to-market strategy. We use digital health, data science, and digital marketing to help detect disease earlier, increase patient access to novel medicines, and educate health care providers and people on new care options.

We are looking for candidates who have a track record of defining, building, and delivering novel 0-to-1 technology products and are not afraid to challenge the status quo. You are also able to forge positive relationships to get things done in a matrixed company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own technical product management for key initiatives
• Develop product vision and strategy and lead cross-functional execution throughout the full product lifecycle
• Partner with diverse cross-functional teams on opportunity identification, success metric definition, business case development, prioritization, and road mapping
• Build and deliver presentations to senior leaders
• Build deep understanding of sophisticated and novel healthcare opportunities, including medical, scientific, technical, regulatory, and go-to-market factors
• Develop selection criteria and lead external suppliers and/or engineers as needed
• Lead global, cross-functional teams to deliver products and results

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or other graduate degree preferred
• 5+ years of technology product or program management, data science, strategy & operations, product marketing, business development, or other technology experience
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional colleagues with varying degrees of technical understanding
• Experience with end to end product delivery
• Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience developing personalized user experiences powered by machine learning and other data science approaches
• Experience navigating a matrixed organization to achieve results using influence without authority

Preferred:

• Healthcare experience, e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, health tech, health data science, or related industries
• Experience in strategy consulting
• Experience leading external development teams
• Experience in a tech startup or other smaller firm selling into enterprises
• Experience in data science product management and/or as a data scientist

Expected Base Salary: $118,000 - $203,550
