For the Janssen Supply Chain (JSC) in Beerse/ Olen we are looking for a Business Excellence engineer that will be responsible for leading complex supply chain improvements, as well as developing Lean competencies in the organization.

Job responsibilities

• You own the Fast Track Qualifying process for JSC Beerse/ Olen to guarantee reliable supply and prevent stock-outs by following up on exceptions that impact the standard flow for the release of our final products.
• You look for continuous optimizations of our local value chain by capturing, connecting and analysing data from multiple systems (SAP-RPE, OMP, eLIMS, Smart QC, Smart QA, OSI-Pi, …) and application of statistical methods (eg Minitab).
• You lead improvement projects using J&J Production System (JJPS) and Lean methodologies such as Value Stream mapping.
• You own the Root Cause Problem Solving process and build capabilities on all levels in the organisation to investigate and solve issues in a systematic way. You facilitate the very complex investigations with advanced techniques (RATIO, Kepner Tregoe, and apply statistical analysis on various data.
• You build the JJPS culture and capabilities by coaching new people leaders and project leaders in the organization.

Qualifications

• You have strong experience in a (pharmaceutical) supply chain with good knowledge of End-to-End business processes.
• You are certified in Six Sigma and/ or Lean Manufacturing and have proven Project Management skills. You are familiar with JJPS methodology.
• You are result-oriented with an aptitude to analyse complex problems under pressure, reach valid conclusions and find right solutions to make things happen.
• You collaborate effectively with all functions of the organization and can drive alignment in a local and global context.
• You have good knowledge of Dutch language.
• You have a passion to share your knowledge and to facilitate the learning of others.
