The IT Lead Product analyst – Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) will work at the intersection of the finance team and technology to help define strategies that combine a deep understanding of business objectives, challenges, with technology solutions and extending them into development execution, value realization & ongoing product management. This role will focus on developing the Anaplan technology that supports a transformed financial planning and budgeting process. There is flexibility on the location where this role will be based, with strong preference to location in New Brunswick, NJ; Raritan, NJ and Tampa, FL. In this role, you will work with the EPM squad team members for specific initiatives (for example, Inventory, Other Cost not in Standard, Deliver,) to understand business needs, write business-language user stories & lead technical delivery of solutions aligned to those stories, including support for development of prototype/POC.

Business Problem Understanding: works with the finance business partners to understand and translate business problems into value case & comprehensive sets of requirements for the planning solution spanning process, technology, data, governance, compliance & user experience supported by defined value realization key performance indicators.

Internal Partnerships: Acts as the primary IT collaborator with the business, alongside TPO, aligning on products development needs, for the EPM related products and platforms through the definition, management and clarification of user stories and use cases for complex requirements. Ensures all partners are clear on the roadmap activities, interdependencies & due dates.

Program oversight: provides operating support for existing products, tactical support to all supporting functions and report on progress of own workstream. Owns product functional knowledge and is responsible and accountable for documentation of user acceptance testing to ensure definition of done for requirements is satisfied.

We believe that current knowledge of industry and business process trends and ability to apply knowledge to existing business processes are crucial to enable you to be successful in this role. Furthermore, it is recommended that you have a knowledge of the enterprise architecture and development methodologies along with a broad understanding of the current capabilities and limitations of existing systems. In addition to these core skills, we would expect you to have the following technical knowledge:

Reporting to the Technical Product Owner – IT Manager – EPM, you would partner closely with Global Process Owners, Business Product Owners and Technology Services to maximize the value of the prototyping of the Anaplan solution while supporting the development functional requirements and user stories for the build of the groundbreaking investment in the Enterprise Performance Management technology.

Qualifications

Education:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. Preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or related field.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • 3+ year preferred of relevant experience in defining and documenting requirements and supporting finance function.
  • Strong technical focus with prior work experience in financial planning and budgeting technology solutions, such as TM1, Hyperion, and/or Anaplan, is required.
  • Knowledge of Anaplan is preferred.
  • Experience with all aspects of the product development lifecycle as well as Agile methodology is preferred.
  • Experience working to bring products/services to market strongly desired.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Anticipated Salary Range: $88,000-$123,500
