Job Description

Lead, manage and train junior engineers in Data Science, Robotics techniques and implementation. Plan and execute the Data Science, Robotics projects with deliverables and milestones. Integrate and configure trained models into production for inference (Cloud & embedded). Own the end-to-end development and deployment of scalable and versatile ML/AI models. Implement Data Engineering around mode regression/retraining/monitoring and management for internal models. Extract insights from aggregated robot data to help perform jobs more efficiently, intelligently, and robustly. Transform high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources to expose and highlight patterns, anomalies, relationships, and trends. Analyze source data and data flows, working with structured and unstructured data. Demonstrate knowledge to evaluate, learn, put to use and integrate new robotic technologies to solve problems, while developing familiarity with the open source community and development concepts. Utilize graduate-level research and analysis skills. Develop technology strategy and solution stack to enable end-to-end, scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analysis, model development, model validation and model implementation. Partner with product management, business leaders in various functional groups to identify, guide, and advise on AI based application opportunities. Some travel may be required to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. May telecommute from home.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or related technical field and 4 year(s) of work experience in job offered or 4 year(s) of work experience in a related occupation. Experience may be gained concurrently. Education or experience must include:

• Demonstrated proficiency in python and bash scripting;
• Experience with mechatronic concepts/products;
• Demonstrated proficiency in Robotics;
• Experience in C++ or Java;
• Demonstrated proficiency in Deep Learning;
• Demonstrated proficiency in Computer vision and packages like Opencv or PIL;
• Demonstrated proficiency in Natural Language Processing;
• Demonstrated proficiency with common data treatment and ML modeling frameworks like Tensorflow and Pytorch;
• Experience with Keras;
• Demonstrated proficiency in SQL;
• Experience with Kubernetes;
• Demonstrated proficiency in Cloud Computing (AWS or Azure or GCP);
• Experience with scalable model deployment; and
• Demonstrated proficiency in containerizing Deep Learning models.
