Job Description

Job Duties: Assist in the design, development, implementation, and deployment of automated analytics solutions to drive and accelerate evidence and insight generation. Support Market Access Analytics Projects in collaboration with cross-functional partners including RealWorld Value & Evidence, Medical Affairs, and Commercial. Provide critical on-demand analytics and programming support to our internal partners. Translate analytics requests into data and programming languages, applying appropriate programming and analytics methods. Ensure all market access analytics projects are conducted in compliance with internal and external policies, and procurement requirements are satisfied. Responsible for data query, data engineering, and data management. Manage design and implementation of health economics and outcome research studies for clinical trials that provide economic perspective for product portfolio decisions, marketing, product reimbursement strategies and government submissions. Evaluate the economic value of products and therapies with the clinical and quality of life outcomes data from clinical trials and/or epidemiology studies. Design, implement, and manage outcomes research studies and the development of models/tools, from concept through publication. Manage statistical analyses to develop and deliver outcomes research or reimbursement programs. Identify data needs for reimbursement for phase III / IV studies.

Qualifications

Requirements: Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science or related quantitative field plus 2 years of data-centric work experience in an industry environment, in the job offered or related occupation. Position requires experience with:

1. At least one scripting language (Python, R, C++, or MATLAB);
2. Performing algorithm design, implementation, and/or optimization, including algorithm-level understanding of analytic models;
3. Delivering end-to-end analytic solutions to cross-functional partners;
4. Data visualization (matplotlib, seaborn, or D3.js);
5. Building data apps (Dash or Streamlit);
6. High performance computing and parallel programming;
7. SQL and large data set manipulation; and
8. Analytics libraries such as Scikit-Learn, Pandas, Matplotlib, PyTorch, or Keras.

Position may require up to 10% travel (domestic). May telecommute up to 2 days per week.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
