The Manager, AI for Patient Engagement will play a key role in our AI driven transformation journey, with a primary focus on elevating the patient solutions and experience through the strategic application of AI, data science, and advanced analytics. The candidate must have a strong business intuition, deep knowledge of healthcare industry, be a self-starter, and should be able to adjust quickly to changing needs and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the business product owner and single point of contact for all advanced analytics and AI driven solutions for patient engagement within Immunology
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across PECS (Patient experience & customer solutions), CIS (Commercial Insights & Strategy), Immunology brand sales and marketing, Media Excellence, Advanced Analytics, Data Science & Engineering, and IT, among others, to help shape and evolve the patient solution roadmap.
  • Provide strategic advice to senior leaders within brands and the PECS organization
  • Manage internal and external development teams, helping to shape priorities and keep timelines intact
  • Be the end-to-end quarterback for AI focused initiatives, fostering cross functional teamwork and ensuring all parties are informed of their role in the work. Partner with HCC, privacy, and legal to keep compliance and patient confidentiality at the core of all solutions. At times, field training may also be needed.
  • Implement AI-driven tools and techniques to enhance the performance and speed-to-market of our patient focused solutions. Develop a roadmap for each one to ensure it has longevity and/or scalability
  • Uncover “critical moments” along a customer's journey for marketing intervention using common sources of consumer, claims, and specialty pharmacy data. Support the brands and PECS with the development of personalized patient experiences.
  • Lead the development of measurement framework and KPIs for the AI products for patient engagement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience and Skills:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant business experience in healthcare, analytics, data science, marketing, management consulting or related field is required
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, advanced degree preferred
  • Experience using one of the following: SQL, R, Python

Competencies:

  • Experience using healthcare claims datasets, electronic health records, and specialty pharmacy data in patient analytics - including adherence, fulfillment effectiveness, line of therapy, persistence, and patient treatment pathways.
  • Experience using patient analytics, voice of customer, internal and external benchmarking, and compliance monitoring to inform continued optimization of patient solutions.
  • Awareness of the market dynamics and ability to quantify patient unmet needs in order to shape and refine patient focused solutions.
  • Track record in implementation of AI-driven initiatives within pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the patient support area.
  • Skilled in data extraction and summarization from large datasets using SQL and basic statistical analysis using preferred languages (i.e., Python, SQL, R)
  • Capable of interpreting the results of predictive models, evaluating model performance, and translating findings into actionable insights aligned with brand strategy.
  • Understanding of media landscape and how creative can be tailored to address specific patient needs.
  • Comfort pulling together presentations quickly and translating complex concepts into relevant visuals with concrete recommendations.
  • Track record of strong project management and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Possesses excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to identify and address brand-specific pain points effectively.
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion to learn new things.
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit, who is willing to push boundaries (I.e. challenge the status quo) even when met with organizational resistance

Other:

  • This position is based in Titusville, NJ and will require up to 15% domestic travel
  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $113K to $170K USD.
