Your Role and Responsibilities

Project context / Team

As a RedHat Solution Architect, you will position yourself as a leader of the hybrid-Cloud architecture and RedHat technical referent within your team and will support major clients in sectors as varied as automotive, industry , banking/insurance, health, public sector, communication, luxury and retail.

Missions

Your mission consists of participating in the qualification, pre-sales, design and application development phases within a project team on Red Hat products such as Openshift, Ansible, Edge. You will also be able to intervene in the upstream phases of defining target architecture or setting up technical demonstrators.

Responsibilities

Analysis of business and technical requirements

Definition of the architecture of Cloud and RedHat solutions

Definition of the target operational model of the solution

Estimated build and run costs of the solution

Support for development teams

Consulting on application migration to the Cloud and system modernization

Study of solutions hybridization solutions

Evaluation of the impact of solutions according to their type of implementation (Cloud, Managed, On Premises, etc.)

Promotion of our Cloud and RedHat expertise among our clients

Active contribution to the Community of Cloud Architects and RedHat Experts

Interests of the position

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience

You have significant experience of at least 5 years in IT architecture, on the design and implementation of innovative projects, as well as proven experience on Cloud, RedHat and DevOps projects.

Experience on one or more Cloud Providers is a plus: GCP, Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud, etc.

You have the skills to ensure proper consideration of the security of information systems and their performance, especially in a hybrid world .

You have significant experience with RedHat solutions (Ansible, OpenShift, etc.) whether on-prem or cloud.

You have ideally already used Red Hat solutions, RedHat and Cloud certifications are a plus.

Technical skills

As an IT architect, you:

• Master at least one recognized architecture definition methodology
• Use your experience in creating complex and innovative solutions using a multitude of platform types (Digital Transformation, Servicization, API, Big Data, Internet of Things, Mobile, Advanced Analytics, Cognitive, etc.)
• Are able to convert business requirements into successful technical design
• Have experience in development in Java and/or Mainframe technology, in particular on application servers, to deliver large projects under different approaches (Cycle V and or Agile) particularly with remote teams
• Master the challenges and benefits of Cloud computing: XaaS.
• Have a very good knowledge of the service catalog of several Cloud providers including GCP, IBM Cloud, AWS or Azure and have obtained at least 1 Cloud or Red Hat certification.
• Understand development and production issues
