Job Description

As a Data Scientist at IBM, you will help transform our clients’ data into tangible business value by analyzing information, communicating outcomes and collaborating on product development. Work with Best in Class open source and visual tools, along with the most flexible and scalable deployment options. Whether it’s investigating patient trends or weather patterns, you will work to solve real world problems for the industries transforming how we live.

Your Role and Responsibilities

This position resides in Markham and is a 8-month work term commencing in May 2023. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term.

You will be involved with the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of a large-scale content syndication and learning management system. Deployed across four continents and several data centers, your code will affect several millions of people worldwide. If you ever wanted to help build something akin to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store but for education, this is your opportunity. You will have a lot of creative freedom, the ability to constantly grow your skills, and to put what you learn to good use.
