Your Role and Responsibilities

As part of the creation of new project and service centers in the employment areas where our sites are located, the IBM group is looking for a set of technical and functional profiles for the development and maintenance of projects in the different sectors. activity on a large and strategic application base. As part of a team you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a Senior Data Scientist within our Consulting, DTT (Data, Transformation and Technology), and Quantum Practice teams.
  • Adapt existing quantum algorithms to meet customer needs.
  • Drive innovative solutions by leveraging your extensive experience in data science, quantum computing and digital transformation to solve complex business challenges.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop your expertise and stay at the forefront of data science and quantum computing.
  • Use your expertise to analyze large data sets, develop advanced predictive models, and provide clients with actionable data-driven insights.
  • Mentor junior team members and actively contribute to the growth and development of our multidisciplinary team by sharing your knowledge and expertise.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • BAC+5 (Data Science / Computer Science / Statistics or related field)
  • Proven professional experience as a Data Scientist with initial experience in quantum computing demonstrating solid experience in data analysis and machine learning.
  • Proficient in Python, with experience visualizing and analyzing data using libraries such as NumPy, pandas and Matplotlib.
  • Strong knowledge of applied mathematics, particularly linear algebra and probability theory, and in-depth knowledge of contemporary machine learning techniques.
  • Fluency in English/French

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong interest in quantum computing, demonstrated through certifications, Qiskit training or relevant courses.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A passion for innovation and a desire to stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of data science and technology.
