Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Manager of Digital Analytics, you work across the organization to deliver reporting and insights that power decision-making at all levels. Working in an agile environment and leading a small team, you work in a variety of areas to support and partner with Product, Editorial, Business Development, Sales, Engineering, and Data Engineering teams. You provide end users with the tools and data they need to operate and work closely with stakeholders on strategic initiatives to deliver deep insights. You are a thought leader, bringing ideas around measurement strategy and helping define KPIs for the business.

You key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as a primary digital analytics consultant for TWC digital products
  • Help refine business questions and generate new hypotheses about the product and business through a deep understanding of the data, our users, and our business needs
  • Act as a strategic data integration partner to our Product teams and help conduct data analyses to support new feature launches, drive improvements to existing products and inform product roadmap while operating cross-functionally across product, engineering, operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Manage direct experimental designs: identify parameters, determine success metrics, perform data validation and monitor progress.
  • Help define and standardize KPIs and data governance best practices.
  • Partner with engineering, data engineering, and analytics to improve on the availability, integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data logging and data pipelines
  • Design and deliver periodic health metrics as well as ad hoc analysis to help drive strategic business decisions
  • Build best-in-class self-service dashboards using a mixture of analytical and visualization techniques to influence business and product decisions.
  • Provide data support to Product, Editorial, Business Development, and Marketing to build new reports and dashboards
  • Proactively monitor various trends and events, interpret results, draw detailed, impactful conclusions, and narrate those findings to relevant partners
  • Work with privacy teams to ensure compliance and proactively mitigate risks

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Deep understanding of statistical methods and experiment designs for analytical problems
  • 5+ years of quant analysis and analyzing A/B/n and multivariate experiments
  • 3+ years of using SQL to extract and manipulate data
  • Advanced knowledge of visualization tools such as Qlik, Looker or Tableau
  • Comfort with ambiguity, evolving priorities, and an ability to operate autonomously
  • Familiarity with digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics or Amplitude
  • Ability to narrate insights for complex problems to non-technical audiences from frontline operators up to and including executives
  • 3+ years of building, growing, and managing a team of analysts
  • Experience operating cross-functionally with distributed teams

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience with CDP such as mParticle or Segment
  • Experience with data modeling and architecture
  • 1+ year of experience building ETL processes
  • Experience with ML modeling and predictive analytics. Can interpret and utilize results to inform product teams and conduct further analysis
  • Experience in digital advertising and ad sales analytics

Travel Required:Some travel may be required based on business demand

Projected Minimum Salary:$142,000 per year

Projected Maximum Salary:$264,000 per year
