In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Do you want to be at the head of a growing Data & Analytics team and be a consultant for one of our large Danish customers?

As a practice lead in the Data & Analytics team in IBM Client Innovation Center Denmark, you set the strategic direction and are at the head of our Data & Analytics team consisting of ambitious Data Scientists, Data Engineers and BI consultants spread over offices in Copenhagen and Aarhus.

You will act as a professional beacon within advanced analytics both in the team and as a consultant, where innovative solutions and noticeable business results are created through analysis and modeling of large amounts of data.

At the Data & Analytics team, we work with the latest technologies within machine and deep learning, data engineering and advanced analytics in general, and we develop and implement solutions for some of the largest companies in the Nordics.

A management team rich in sparring

As a practice manager in the IBM Client Innovation Center, which is a delivery partner for IBM Consulting, you will be part of our management team and report directly to our center manager.

We are organized in 6 practices: Development, Test & Automation, UX & Design, Business Delivery, Agile and Data & Analytics. In the management team, we work i.a. with leadership allies. This means that you take turns partnering with a colleague from another practice, from whom you receive sparring and coaching on management challenges.

Set the direction and shape the consultants of the future

You can look forward to a role with good variety and the opportunity to continue to use your skills in consulting and stakeholder management, when you e.g. contributes strategic advice and knowledge about AI to one of our large Danish customers.

At the same time, as practice lead, you will be responsible for inspiring and developing your team, which consists of data scientists, data engineers and BI consultants, as well as attracting new talent to the practice. You get personnel responsibility and become responsible for your team's project allocations, and you are measured partly on your own and partly on the team's results.

We expect you to be able to set the professional direction for your team, and that you actively take a position on our positioning and competences, so that our consultants become known as the most skilled within the Data & Analytics area.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Data & Analytics consultant with leadership ambitions

It is an advantage if you have tried your hand at personnel management, but it is not a requirement that you have had a formal leadership role. With your experience as a consultant, you understand the challenges that your employees may face, and you can coach and inspire them so that they continue to develop their skills.

In addition, we imagine that you:

• has a strong background in data science and/or data engineering
• has 5+ years of experience as a consultant
• has the skills to run ambitious and value-creating projects with our customers' needs in focus
• speaks both Danish and English so you can communicate with all our customers
• can deliver innovative data and analytics solutions, as well as drive them from concept to production
• has experience with professional development in python
• has knowledge of the software life-cycle through concrete experience within either DevOps, MLOps or DataOps
• has experience with Cloud, Container technologies, CI/CD and IaC
