Your Role and Responsibilities
The Full Stack Application Developer will be working in a global cross functional team at the leading edge of digital AI transformation with internal and external customers using Multi/Hybrid Cloud, helping shape the conversation with clients and building / creating new digital transformation solutions. The individual needs to have a real passion for Multi/Hybrid Cloud as a technology platform and will have practical hands on experience of designing and delivering enterprise scale solutions for customers.

The Full Stack Application Developer should be able to lead discussions with customer technical decision makers and translate business requirements into secure, reliable and highly available technology solutions that deliver real customer value. The person needs to be adept at managing constant business change, rapidly evolving requirements, adjustments in strategic direction, and keeping current on emerging technology solutions.

Primary Responsibilities :
To be successful in this role you will need to:

• Play a leadership role within the Supply Chain Transformation development teams to facilitate co-creation and joint development between clients and IBM
• Continuously expand essential business, industry, technology, and competitive knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, Container Security, cloud software and solution architecture (including privacy and security by design principles), and open source technologies (RHEL, etc.)
• Expand partnerships at all levels of the client organization resulting in highest levels of client advocacy
• Champion an entrepreneurial mindset and deliver unique value by leveraging industry and technology expertise to drive innovative strategies to accelerate clients’ success
• Connect client pain points and opportunities to full suite of IBM technology and services in a client context

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
The role holder is expected to be a subject matter expert in the following:

• Cloud-based software development
• Agile, DevOps practices
• Continuous integration technologies
• Architecting / deploying / operating solutions built on AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Cloud application design, software architecture and practices
• Scalable architectures
• Strong, collaborative client relationships

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Experience in a technical solution and architect role for cloud-based solutions
• Understanding of IBM Design Thinking
• Cloud Solutions Architect – Professional qualification preferred
• Strong full-stack web development (frontend and backend) skills with proficiency in Angular, NodeJS, Python and Scala for development and DB2, Cloudant and Cassandra for DB
• Possess significant knowledge of UI/UX visual aesthetic components and elements such as fonts, layout, colour, graphics etc
