Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking to hire a Research Scientist (RS) / Research Staff Member (RSM) in the Theory of Quantum Computing and Information Group at the IBM TJ Watson Research Laboratory in Yorktown Heights, NY. The ideal candidate would have a graduate degree in physics, computer science, mathematics, engineering or a related field and would have several years of research experience in quantum error correction, fault tolerant quantum computing, quantum information, or related areas. This job entails both a high degree of autonomy and the ability to collaborate with others in a research and development environment. Candidates are expected to publish and present high-impact results and to work closely with other members of the team.
