Your Role and Responsibilities

What tasks await you with us?

• A challenging master's position in technical sales in an innovative IT environment of a leading global company
• Learning how to design customer-specific solutions in the information architecture (IA) and artificial intelligence (AI) areas
• Learning and creating presentations, demos and hands-on workshops for customers, business partners or external events.

• The development and presentation of information architectures, data fabric and data governance approaches as a basis for data science, analytics and AI.

In addition to these exciting tasks, you have enough freedom to devote yourself to your master's degree.

Program content:

You are planning a master's degree or are already studying for a master's degree at a university of your choice, preferably in a full-time technical degree program (for example in business informatics, computer science, (international) sales management).

Your degree, including your master's thesis, will be around 12 months at the earliest.

At the same time, you will work in a specialist department at IBM, where you can put your theoretical knowledge directly into practice.

If possible, you should write your master's thesis in collaboration with your department.

We offer:

choice between

• 18 hours of leave for university and 20 hours of working time at IBM

or

• 23 hours of leave for university and 15 hours of working time at IBM

Remuneration during the contract term:

with 6 pm exemption:

• 1st year: €1,281 gross
• 2nd year: €1,673 gross
• 3rd year: €1,853 gross

with 11 pm exemption:

• 1st year: €961 gross
• 2nd year: €1,254 gross
• 3rd year: €1,390 gross
• the payment of semester fees and the reimbursement of travel costs to the university in accordance with our guidelines
• Compensation for master’s thesis expenses at a flat rate of €2,500
• IBM internal training offers as well as the possibility of badges/certifications

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

You have

• a bachelor's degree in computer science or data science.
• Experience and initial knowledge in the area of ​​database technologies, information architectures, data fabric, data integration and data governance approaches as a basis (“trusted data”) for data science, analytics and AI
• initial architecture and methodological knowledge of machine and deep learning models as well as programming languages like Phyton
• business fluent written and spoken German and English
• an understanding of customer needs in the information architecture and AI environment, which you were able to successfully implement in customer-specific projects.
• a leadership mentality and enjoy leading projects to success

You are

• a strong communicator
• creative and understand how to present yourself in social media, developer communities, user groups or meetups
• a strong team player
